1 folder with pockets and brads, any color, with first and last name on front
25 sheets of notebook paper (to be placed in front pocket, this will be used for notes and placed in brad section after being checked by me and returned. You will have to add paper during the year. Work sheets will be placed in the back pocket after I grade,record and return them.
Blue or Black pens
The test will come from class notes, worksheets, and power points. You will need to keep up with your papers in order to study!
Be respectful of others. Inappropriate language is not accepted.
Come prepared to work each day. You must have supplies daily.
Get to class on time or you will be counted tardy. You need to be in your seat when the bell rings.
You will take some notes most days and are responsible for notes on days absent.
You will be assigned a seat which you are expected to stay in unless we are doing lab work.
Do not sleep or put your head down on your desk.
All food and drink must be thrown away or put away out of sight before you enter class.
NO electronic devices including, but not limited to cell phones, I pods, blackberries, mp3s, etc. may be out during class.  If I see them, I will take them up for the remainder of the class period and make a note in the grade book.
LATE WORK POLICY: (this is a CCHS policy)
1 day late            maximum grade of 89
2-5 days late        maximum grade of 70
5+ days late          teacher's discretion, if taken, maximum grade of 69
verbal warning - 2 times

PARENT INVOLVEMENT - I encourage each parent to retister on line for Parent Access. Parent Access allows you to see real-time grades, discipline, and attendance for your student. I welcome emails from parents and try to respond within the same day. I can also be reached by phone during conference time.  I will return your call as soon as possible if I am out of the room when you call.
